See You at the Fair is a new card set patterned in the style of Goudey and Gum Inc. releases of the era. This is the only non-sports set I will be releasing this year. The pirates set isn't far enough to long to be done by October 27, which is 75 years to the day of the final day of the New York 1939-40 World's Fair, so it will be released next year to coincide with a few important dates in the history of pirate lore.

Oh, man the set looks good. I will have to keep an eye out for the kickstarter! In the mean time I am trying not to buy the ACDC set, it looks awesome. Very cool artwork and cards, you are making sets that I would be making if I had the ability, every one of the interests me, lol.

That's Elektro the Moto-Man robot, the Robot dog Sparko, and Doc Savage on the left.

Thanks, I put quite a lot of work into this one. Promo cards were just ordered and should be out in about 11 days.

My mother attended the fair. I still have a metal jewelry box and a charm bracelet from the fair. I have some commemorative medals in my collection too. They have been packed away somewhere for at least 20 years or so. Here is a cool website.

These folks have a monthly newsletter on the fair.

Elektro resides here in my home town of Mansfield, Ohio. Westinghouse was headquartered here until the 1970's. He sits in the city museum. The biggest attraction - the prison. Shawshank Redemption was filmed here.

A few new works-in-progress for the set. Stark will NOT be included in the base set but might be a promo or a Kickstarter extra. Not sure yet.

Thanks
