Glad they got Gyllenhaal, one of the biggest stars of the film and it's always good to see Smulders. Seems like autos are going to be tough in this release, I guess the frequency of autographs didn't help sell Homecoming enough as they seemed to have pulled back in this release. I wish autos fell more frequently and would have welcomed autos from people like Angourie Rice, JB Smoove and Martin Starr . . . of course as well as Sam Jackson, Marisa Tomei Zendaya and Jon Favreau. Shield looks real solid, with 2 autos in most boxes. Sketches are REALLY tough for it though, maybe they'll be worth something when pulled. Spider-Man is interesting. You're looking at 2-3 autos per case. Feast of Famine product again. A LOT more sketches, like 3-4 per case. But you're still going to have the boxes without either, and that will be rough on the less-than-case buyers. And beware of buying single boxes from anyone but reputable dealers since you could easily pull 2-3 autos and sell the rest knowing there was little chance of another. I'll likely go with Shield but Spider-Man does have the high-reward hits. I didn't realize the SHIELD autos were seeded at 1:9.25 packs. . . that's awesome this will be a fun break. It is also interesting to keep watching UD tweak these sets. The base/chase sets for these two sets are way different, but the price is really close -- Spider-Man is listed at $99 per box with 15 packs @ 5 cards per, Shield is 5 bucks more at $105, but has 16 packs @ 6 cards per. This is how they list the box contents: Upper Deck Agents of SHIELD Compendium Hobby Box Break Average 1 Autograph and 1 Additional Autograph or Sketch 4-5 Premium Inserts Upper Deck Spider-Man Far From Home Hobby Box Break Average 2 Hits (Autograph, Sketch or Premium Insert) 15 Inserts It seems that they are using 'premium insert' to mean 2 different things because I really don't see anything that looks like a premium insert in SHIELD.

Are there any pictures of the Spider-Man autograph card designs yet? The previous set were horrible.

I would find that more exciting if the boxes were bigger. At 16 packs per box, that just makes this a standard one autograph plus one other hit box, same as most UD stuff - just very likely that other hit is another (1:16 odds) autograph.

I have not seen the designs, but agree the Homecoming designs were terrible.

I ended buying a case of both Spider-Man and SHIELD. I found the inserts to be better in Spider-Man, especially the Mysterio cards which are awesome and gorgeous to see in person- they remind me of the Aether inserts from the Thor Dark World release. I got lucky with a Holland autograph, which made the case for me, but overall it was too bad- I found a road trip thick insert plus either an autograph, sketch, diamond, or Mysterio insert in each box, plus plenty of low level inserts in each box. I ended up with 12 Road Trip inserts, 5 Mysterio inserts, 3 sketches, 3 autographs (Holland Mysterio Markings, and both versions of the Jacob Battaion Flash Mob autograph), 3 sketches, and one Obsidian Diamond insert in the case. Like Ed said, the release is either feast or famine, and I managed to luck out by pulling the rarest autograph so I was happy with my case. That being said, I probably will stick to picking up the other inserts individually before buying another case or any boxes unless the price drops significantly. As for SHIELD, the quantity of autographs was on par, with 2 autographs or 1 autograph and 1 sketch per box. However, I only managed to pull two tier A autographs in the whole case (Brett Dalton from the character profiles set and a Simon Kassianides from the actor autograph set). Thankfully, many of the main actors have Moore common versions, and I was able to get many B and C level tiered cards, and all of the tier D cards from the actor autograph set. I got 2 character profile autographs, 20 actor autographs, and 2 sketches in my case. The inserts all look very similar, and were hard to tell apart and have puzzle backs so only a little bit of information is shared on the front. I was able to finish the season 1 set (basically the base set) in each box, was able to finish the season 2 and 3 sets (the SP sets) in approximately 8 boxes, and have an incomplete set for seasons 4 and 5 (the SSP sets)- each set is missing 11 cards. Overall, this break was kind of boring after awhile since the inserts all looked very similar, with only the autographs or sketches to break things up. It’s a good set for autograph collectors and SHIELD fans, but I don’t know if I really want to finish my sets or buy more autograph since I basically was able to pull a version for each actor that signed with only a few exceptions- there is nothing that really tempts me to keep opening boxes./. If anything, I will trade and buy the rest of the season 4 and 5 SSP cards that I am missing, and then buy a couple of autographs that I missed. Sadly, the Rittenhouse sets have much more attractive autographs autograph designed for my taste, have significant overlap with this UD set, and are at a much more reasonable price to prevent me from buying more. Overall, both cases were worth the price to buy in and are pretty good for case breaks, but can get rough for box buyers. I’m interested in pursuing the Spider-Man premium inserts that I need and look forward to the set hitting repack so I can trade easily and have COMC assist me in locating the inserts. The SHIELD set was a fun, but I am unsure if I want to go through the trouble to hunt down the SSP inserts that I need to complete the set. Again, hopefully epack will make this easier as well.

I see the autograph cards in the Spider-Man set are pretty ugly again. Not as bad as the Homecoming ones, but still. Unimpressive.

Agree. I'm not sure why UD seems to try to get so cutesy with some of their designs. The SHIELD set has WAY better designs, it's simple and effective. The Spider-Man designs are bad.
