Apparently until June 30th all orders over £55 (Star Wars products only) on the UK version of Lego.com receive a pack of three exclusive Star Wars cards, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back.

Each pack contains two cards with Empire Strikes Back poster art, and one "gold helmet" card of either Boba Fett or a TIE pilot; so four cards to collect in total.

Not sure if this is available on the US site too, but it's definitely online and Lego Catalogue telephone orders only, not available in Lego Stores.

Look good but can't see many being redeemed so expect them to be dumped in the future.

I do doubt they've printed very many though. The promotion only ran for a week in total. They might even be printing them on demand, given its all online so they don't need to have printed stock in stores.

Yeah possible, time will tell. I think i would be a bit miffed if i spent £100 on some Lego in the store and they wouldn't let me have a pack of cards.

So it looks like you need 2 different packs to get all 4 cards, and you have to hope and pray that you don't get duplicates ?

And is it 55 GBP for one pack ? Two packs 110 GBP ? Yikes !
