Thank you! The spot where I got the dirt from, on the property where the house once stood, is only a couple minutes from Smithville, but is somehow still very secluded.

I have plenty of pine needles in my yard if anyone wants some.

When I was a teenager, sometime in the late 1980s, I went to Leed's Point to see if they had any Jersey Devil memorabilia. All they had in town was a post office. The guy behind the counter thought that I was crazy. Smile

Ted, did you ever see this Jersey Devil plush toy ? I have seen this item in several places in Cape May

They certainly embrace the Jersey Devil more now. I believe there's a statue somewhere, maybe outside a restaurant?

That's the most adorable JD I've ever seen. Smile

There used to be a radio show on overnight that covered subjects like the Loch Ness Monster and the Chupacabra. I listened to it while working in central Florida around 2002 to maybe around 2009. One night, the host talked about the New Jersey Devil which I had never heard of.

The Week of Terror... which does have a card in the set. Smile

It's funny, a few years ago my family vacationed in northern CA in the heart of the redwoods. Out there it's all about Bigfoot, but in the room one night we watched a local special about the Jersey Devil - we had to travel across the country to watch a show about a NJ legend. Big Grin

Legend of the Jersey Devil is in the home stretch! There is only one week left in the Kickstarter campaign, so if you've been on the fence time is running out.

If you're going to be at the Philly Non-Sports Card Show Oct. 25-26 you can pick up your order direct from me and I'll reimburse your shipping cost.

If you've already made a pledge, thank you SO MUCH! It really means the world to me, I think you're all going to be very happy with the finished product. I'm a one-man show, and I've put a lot of time into this. I hope it shows! Thumb Up

Yeah, there's a Bigfoot museum I haven't gone to in Felton not far from here. The problem with Bigfoot, despite all the TV shows, is that no one has ever collected a single bone, tooth, nor hair of anything like that. It would be great if there were some undiscovered large primate largely eluding detection in western North America. However, with all the fires we've had in the region, I think at least one Bigfoot would have been smoked out into the open by now.

Was that when the New Jersey Devils joined the NHL? I don't know. I don't follow hockey even with San Jose having a team.

I think that was around 1980, and I'm pretty sure they put it to a vote by fans on the name.
