Thanks everyone. The recovery is going very well. I was very fortunate. If someone had told me this time last week how good I would feel today I wouldn't have believed them. My speech is still slurred some but other than that and my hand I'm almost fully recovered. It's going to be a little while before my hand is fully recovered but even now I can do some drawing for short periods of time.

That's great news Chris. As horrible as these things are when they first happen, sometimes you can look back and say "Boy, was I lucky". I'm really happy that its going well for you.
