While the Grammys were a hit for musical stars, the Shammys had their own day to shine. The Garbage Pail Kids made their mark on music world.

The limited-edition Garbage Pail Kids cards depicted nine musical artists that released the night of the Grammys. They ranged from stars of all genres, and included a tribute card to the late Glenn Grey of The Eagles.
