AWRStar Trek / Magic:The Gathering Crossover
Reports suggest Magic: The Gathering is preparing a massive Star Trek-themed card set celebrating six decades of the franchise.
https://toynewsi.com/278-63692Wondering how people will think about/classify this. Will it be considered a Non-Sports Card Set, or a CCG Set?

RavenWell technically, Collectible Card Games (CCGs) come under the broad umbrella of non-sport cards but then break off into the category of Gaming. Entertainment, advertising, food, animals, promos, etc., they all have their own slots as non-sport cards.
If it is a playable edition of Magic: The Gathering, a Star Trek themed set would definitely be considered a CCG. It could get crossover fans, but that's up to them.

Don't know about a video but Wizards has it as an upcoming product on its homepage, to be released in November 2026. They are generally pretty good at churning out these Magic expansion sets.
