Need info on a buffy 5 B5-2 Embossed promo
It is not the SDCC 777 issued promo
It has a large approx 1 inch round Inkworks Authentic embossed cachet
It possibly is A UK issued card as I purchased it off a UK seller years ago and have just got interested in its origins
Thanks

I'm not sure what that is. I think it's the B5-2 from the regular NSU issue and maybe that extra stamp was done at a show.

I agree Inkworks would emboss any Inkworks card at various shows, mostly SDCC, so just about any Inkworks cards could exist being embossed, except for sets issued when they were close to shutting down.

Here's some 2001 Simpsons Mania cards, as embossed at the 2002 SDCC:

Yes it is a NSU card the same card that was inserted in the NSU magazine
But NSU made a variant issue of their magazine of 777 copies for the SDCC and had the same card embossed for insertion in the 777 SDCC variant magazines that were only available at the SDCC
All other copies of that issue had the unembossed card inserted and were posted out to subscribers or to book stores
I am not sure but I think that subscribers could order the SDCC copy at a higher price per copy
The Embossing on the card I am enquiring about is a different style of embossing and I do not think it was a SDCC item
I have at least 8 others different issues with a small oval SDCC embossing like the Buffy 7 Angel 4 ones but only dated 2002.
Same as in Chesspiecefaces picture but not simpsons mine are buffy ones

What does the embossing say on your card?

It is approx 1 inch circle no edges only the words Authentic top and bottom with Inkworks across the center
I have seen it on other cards Sleepy Hollow O/S Casper Van Diem signature
And Lost in Space P3 Signature card
I am mainly interested in it as it is a different embossing to what the NSU SDCC card has
Unfortunately I have tried the instructions put up on this forum and cannot seem to be able to put up photos
I will try and get a computer geek to sort me out
