Anyone know anything about this or is it just rumour.

There seems to be reports that FBI agents were seen handing out Grand Jury subpoenas to certain businesses at the National, presumably in connection with the on-going trimming and altering of graded cards scandal. They are probably looking for sales documentation and such.

This has actually happened at other Nationals at least a couple of times before, when different aspects of the hobby were under investigation.

Raids -- as in people hauled away in hand cuffs and booths confiscated -- not so much.

I think I saw what Raven saw.

There is some incredible animosity being vented on the sports card forums over this. They do want people hauled away in hand cuffs and its well known people in the industry that are being called out. I don't know how much will be proved in the end or how long it will take. It's a complex thing to lay out as a conspiracy between individuals and companies, but no doubt the mob has grabbed their flaming torches already.

Reading through the other thread on this, it seems to me that it would almost require someone very familiar with the processes to make Altergate happen.
