TC00Chris I'm in awe of your custom autograph collection. How do you have such a high success rate? and does it cost a lot in shipping? Or do you include a shipping coupon or something? Thanks! It's great to see your collection.

Chris ClineMorning,
I do have a pretty good success rate at getting autographs back in the mail. So far I have about a 52% rate which is good depending on who you ask. What I do is I have a friend that lives in Oxford and once or twice a year I send him a box with toys and such in it as well as a whole lot of letter for autograph requests. Once he gets the box he buys all the stamps for me places the stamp on the request and return envelope and then mails them for me from Oxford.I then pay him for the stamps via Paypal.
This has worked pretty good the last couple of years, but I have limited myself to sending to Doctor Who, Star Wars, Harry Potter and GoT stars in England. My best returns by far are from Doctor Who. Star Wars people almost never sign my items and keep them or worse send them back to me with a request for cash to sign.
As far as costs go it costs about $3 for each request and most of that of course is for the return stamps.

You can't get shipping coupons any more.
I do TTM and US stamps (for US requests obviously lol) are pretty easy and not too expensive to get hold of.

pendragonIs there anyone out there who has any experience in making custom signature cut cards? Or perhaps has made custom cards for LOST? I'd like to fill in some gaps to my collection. Any help would be appreciated.

How do you do it Chris ? do you send out thousands ? I tried this with one of my favourite movies and only got 16 replies out of around 55, are there too many celebs who don't want to participate, am I a bad letter request writer ?
