CordeliaChase_FanChris- I like your Nightmare on Elm Street ones- Freddy and Don Thompson's pictures aren't from the first movie though, dunno whether you were going for on-screen accuracy or not.

Thanks for pointing that out. I might change them but it all depends on my friend and if he want me to do something from each movie. Still I might switch it just to give him the option. Guess that is what comes from never seeing any of the films.lol

CordeliaChase_FanI'd meant to do my own from each Nightmare movie but stalled with part 3 for a variety of reasons. The ones I mocked up and put in this thread are all accurate as far as the screencap coming from their respective movie. Regardless I'd love to see what you'd come up with for the other movies as well.

Chris ClineI asked the guy I made them for and I had him send me a couple screen shots for those two. So they have new cards now. As far as the other movies, he wants me to keep the same look but just change the poster that way the will all look pretty much the same when he goes to mount them. He wants me to play with same Friday the 13th and Chuckie cards as well. Odd that with these all the big name horror icons being held by New Line that someone could not do a set of horror films.

Chris ClineI had started mocking up some GRIMM cards since some of the stars were going to be at DragonCon last year. I never did get around to finishing them since the set was coming out. Now that I got some of them it is odd to see how close our designs for the auto cards are. I can't wait to finish the set!!!
Here is the one I made as a test when the show started:

That card turned out really well. It should also look good when it is printed.
The Breygent cards were too busy for me, and most of them came out way too dark as printed.

kergLove your work Chris. Really makes me want to do some sets and send them off. Two quick questions
1. In another thread, I think you mentioned that you don't have any standard sizing and you just eye ball it? Wouldn't you use a standard image size of 2.5x3.5 and work the images to that size?
2. When you mail items off, how do you mail them out? (put them in anything, include a pen, include SASE?)
Thanks, look forward to more of your stuff.

While I did make a standard image to work off of because of how Artscow sets up the cut lines on their pattern the cards sometime not fit as well as I would like. I have got it down now but it took a few tries to figure it out right.
When I send my cards off I always add an extra card or so of the actor to keep if they would like and I inculde a SASE and a letter or card telling them what I am working on and why I like their work so much.

Chris ClineI started some basic cards for movies that dont have enough characters or living cast members to do a whole set.
