I had been aware of how to search Allender's site (as well as TCDB and other listing sites). Allender lists 2 F-22 cards, and no F-35s. As far as I can tell, there are no mainstream F-35 cards in print. Having lived through the early 1990s, when cards were produced on every subject imaginable and in quantities that would fill a municipal landfill, this is mind-boggling. The problem is actually getting the card. I have addresses for the two pilots who first flew these aircraft, and would like to send the cards to them to get autographed. I'm not interested in spending $5 to get a card that is worth a buck, tops. There's a 2014 Allen & Ginter F-22 on ebay right now. It'll be a little over $2 if I get it, which I probably will. But no F-35s to be seen. |
