I don't know how some companies do postage so cheap, but I'm glad they do. I sent a Monopoly game from UK to Australia with Parcels2go. It cost me £18.00. Royal Mail wanted £45. It arrived there 7 days later.

Just when you thought it was safe.... A quick heads up to anyone shipping things from here in the UK to any international destinations, the Royal Mail are increasing their prices again from September 1st. This time the increases will be hitting World Zone 1 and Zone 2, so shipping to the US should remain the same as it is in its own Zone 3 which is not changing.

I know this as the nice lady at my Post Office gave me a leaflet detailinng the changes earlier today. I couldn't find anything on the Royal Mail website but it is happening Frown

Does anyone know how much it would cost to send a binder from Australia to the UK?

Beginning August 29th the US Postal Service will get its second increase of the year. A first class mail stamp goes up 3 cents and expect other classes to follow. Also cost of services like certified mail, signature confirmation, return receipt and even Media Mail goes up now. The delivery time for first class mail is expected to be slowed down in October.

So you will be paying more for worse service and they come right out and tell it to you, just in case you might think there is anyone who will take your complaint. Big Grin
