Does anyone here collect Disney Gift Cards?
They have tons of designs... 100's through the years. Many are exclusive to specific events and many have been retired.

Anyone else?

we've put together a small collection over the years of various Disney (and other) gift cards featuring artwork that caught our eye.

You can order (and choose the artwork) them on the Disney website too and there's a lot of them that are exclusive to that method

I collect all gift cards. I'm not sure if I have any Disney extras but if anyone expresses an interest, I'll bring my extras to the Philly Show to trade. My collection would be larger if I didn't have a fear of being picked up for shoplifting. I won't even take one from Toys R Us and they are priced at 0.00. I rely on the charity of others to pass along their spent cards. If it's a store that I frequent then I'll buy cards in advance for $5.00 and use them en masse next time. Any hints on how you acquire yours? What is the Disney Store policy?

I'll pick them up here and there if I like the design. Usually I try and trade but I've bought some of the event ones (Star Wars Weekends) on ebay if I thought the price was decent.

I love Disney gift cards! I also collect arcade cards (cards used to play games in Disney resort arcades), specialty cards that are handed out in the parks (monorail pilot's license, Tomorrowland Speedway driver's license, etc.) and transportation cards that feature the different monorails, buses and boats used to get around Disney World. Most of my collection comes from picking up the cards while on vacation there, but I do trade and buy them, too.

I live about 5 minutes from Disney World so I spend a lot of money there on not just merchandise, but food and entertainment with my family of four. You can use them ANYWHERE Disney (Store, Parks, Cruise, etc.) so I always buy gift cards, use them up, and then keep the designs.

I order a ton online, but they aren't the high quality plastic like you get in the store. They are nice, but they ARE print-on-demand cards. If I can find them in-store, that is what I prefer.

I started back in the mid 90s with theme park entry cards [sort of the same thing?]cards used in France's Disneyland theme park. It began as a holiday memento but then I liked the designs and I like the foreign languages on cards too.

I know you can get them from Disney store too where I live too but obviously not the same as theme park. I like the original Disney theme park entry cards [France obviously being the smallest of the 4 international Disney theme parks], that you used to get on lanyards.

Think nowadays it's all printed entry forms though which really isn't the same. There was a time each family member [for example] you randomly be issued 4 different theme park entry cards - All full color tough plastic and they expired at the end of your trip so you could keep them.
