Everyone's favorite sticker autograph set is about to hit the street. Who ya huntin?

Only have a handful on my list but Geena Davis, Matthew Broderick and Jennifer Jason Leigh are on top.

Would be cool to finish out my Thelma and Louise cast. Cool

I'm waiting to see what images were used. . . Should be very soon, they usually release Pop Century right before The National Sports Card Convention.

Most likely I'll chase Geena Davis, Laura Vandervoort and try for a Harrison Ford. . . possibly others too.

Very few names that have not signed in previous Leaf products or other makers. That's what comes of sticker autographs, constant recycling no matter what the year. Roll Eyes

I have no clue about this year, but historically Brian Gray has a release party for Pop Century at one of the large sports card shops in Chicago the night before The National.

I've been able to attend a few times. . .

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see some of these cards popping up on eBay tonight.

Of course The National starts tomorrow and Leaf has Pop Century redemption programs so for sure these will be showing up by tomorrow night.

I'm not sure if the cards are scanning really poorly or if they really look that bad. . .

So far I'm not impressed. . .

Also kind of surprised how many 1/1s are showing up already. . .

Another problem with shiny cards is that they photograph like ****. Or you can play with the light and make the card look better than it actually is.

I hate all cards shiny. I really really do.

Now that I realize that Edge is not the dude from U2 I think my want list is down to 6. Gonna get em and leave this one alone.

Tonya Hardin is useless for you but Surely Wilford Brimley fits in somewhere ? The Thing, Cocoon ?

Tom Skerritt + Eve Plumb are the signatures that caught my eye, but they are only on a 200 cut signature list ?

Yeah Wilford is on the list. I have both Skerritt (from ALIEN set) and Plumb (Golden Age).

Unless the cut sigs were actually created for the set I stay away from them. I cant bring myself to pay autograph card prices when all the manufacturer did was go buy some items from a dealer, cut them up and shove em in a card frame.

Anyone hunting a Jennifer Jason Leigh, I have noticed she has signed both ways for this release.

She has a nice full signature and then there is the super chopped up WTH is that? version.

Not sure at what point in the process she made the adjustment.

For what it is worth people who have seen these in person say they look really nice. . .

I totally agree though I'm not a fan of 'metal' cards. . .

Still not sure what I am going to chase in this. . . I think I'd like to pick up a Jennifer Love Hewitt -- I wish her autographs on Ghost Whisperer were as nice as these. . . but I'm not sure if I'm going to go after Pop Century or Goodwin. . . The Goodwin autograph is on card, but seems like it is going to be a fair bit more expensive.

The Al Pacino signatures in this are his nicest card signatures yet, I think -- which isn't saying a ton, but I haven't seen any that were cut off. . .

I noticed that on the Pacino's as well. Love Hewitt is on my list, I really like that Goodwin version better but ultimately price is going to win it for me. Sigs on both cards look nice enough.

I did pick up one of the Goodwin Zazie Beetz sigs. Figure I would get in on the ground floor. Smile
