I think this is a great idea. I have been compiling a Choirboys styled display and see a few cards that I don't have. Really neat!

There are some cheap Harris Yulin cards on ebay right now -- he was in Scarface. And if this was my project, I'd have to put together something for Pulp Fiction -- Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson, Tim Roth, Amanda Plummer, Uma Thurman, Frank Whaley, Julia Sweeney, Phil Lamarr all have signed cards available. Likewise "True Romance" -- you've got Christian Slater, Samuel L Jackson, Val Kilmer, Gary Oldman, Bronson Pinchot, Saul Rubinek, Michael Rapaport, James Gandolfini, Tom SizemoreThis message has been edited. Thanx! Some great ideas! Will look for the Yulin card. True Romance has completely missed my radar....will start a project folder for that one as well. I am going back and forth with Tarantino's Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction.....not having the Uma is tough. Did pick up Jackson and currently looking at Plummer. I think I have enough for Risky Business as I doubt Tom Cruise will ever sign. Also working on Black Hawk Down. ____________________ Just because it's rare doesn't mean it's valuable.

Dang Uma autographs have gotten pricey! Haven't looked in a while. . . I can see why that is a challenge.

Yeah...plus a couple of them have been recently purchased so they are drying up. Just not sure how bad I really want it. I was happy that Topps released another very limited Samuel L Jackson recently. Although it wasn't cheap it was certainly much cheaper than attempting to go fish for it out of new product.
Bill! Was able to pick up a Buffy Yulin for $9.99 so that will work nicely! Again thanx for bringing that one to my attention. ____________________ Just because it's rare doesn't mean it's valuable.

Yeah, Connery is only a cut and I don't think I will pay the standard asking price. It will be interesting to see if Upper Deck can get him to sign any more. Downey Jr. is in the same price boat. I can't remember the last time I saw the Tommy Lee Jones for sale. Crazy rare. I do have a HEAT folder started, just waiting to bring in a couple more autographs. One of my favorite films as well. Most of these are doable.....that Deadwood list is impressive. I think I already have most of the higher priced signatures. ____________________ Just because it's rare doesn't mean it's valuable.

I sure had it in my head that Robert Duvall had a Twilight Zone card. He would have been a good addition to M*A*S*H and The Eagle has Landed. What movie could you get the most cards for (ignoring sets for that particular movie)? I was surprised to find so many for Heat, but I bet it could be beaten. Love Actually is a movie full of people who should have signed cards but didn't. It has: Thomas Sangster, Andrew Lincoln, Martin Freeman, Olivia Olson, Denise Richards, Adam Godley, Liam Neeson But it's missing Bill Nighy, Colin Firth, Emma Thompson, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Keira Knightley, Hugh Grant, Laura Linney, Alan Rickman, Rowan Atkinson, Elisha Cuthbert, January Jones, Claudia Schiffer

Wow, I love it! Beautiful presentations. I have a similar "American Graffiti" set, but missing the Harrison Ford, so congrats on yours. I also just need Anthony Michael Hall to finish my "Breakfast Club" (such as it is, why the holdout, Bender?). Here's my "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels": ____________________ Everywhere around this burg they're running out of verbs, adverbs, and adjectives. I do have a Duvall card but it was one I made for him to sign. Actually Chiwetel (i have it) and Rickman has signed but the Rickman is super dried up these days. Or stupid expensive. I recently found Smoking Aces I think I count at least 13 but have not verified the whole cast yet. I still have a Jon Tenney I left off of Tombstone which would make it 11. ____________________ Just because it's rare doesn't mean it's valuable.

Yup! Still hoping that Judd will sign something. Not only did he pass on Psych but has not hit Pop Century either. Nice Frank Oz dude!! That one just started to shoot up in price over the past year or so. Really surprised he has not signed any other Star Wars stuff. ____________________ Just because it's rare doesn't mean it's valuable.

"The Aristocrats" is a documentary, with a bunch of comedians telling their versions of an incredibly filthy joke (great movie, btw). It has at least 25 cast members who have signed cards.

Of course at some point there is a number where I have to break it down into at least two presentation pages. ____________________ Just because it's rare doesn't mean it's valuable.

So "Aristocrats" is a documentary, with a bunch of talking heads. Not surprising to be able to get a lot of cards associated with it. But for movies with a narrative story, what's the most possible? You mentioned "Smoking Aces" with 13. "Draft Day" (2014) has that beat: It has a really good mix of actors: Kevin Costner, Denis Leary, Jennifer Garner, Brad William Henke, Wallace Langham, Christopher Cousins, W. Earl Brown, Kevin Dunn, David Ramsey But it also has a number of football players, announcers, etc. in large and small roles: Chris Berman, Deion Sanders, Arian Foster, Mel Kiper, Jon Gruden, Jim Brown (also an actor), Demario Davis, Phil Taylor, Bernie Kosar, Rich Eisen, Ray Lewis, Ramses Barden, T J Ward. So 9 actors and 13 FB people makes 22. It would be surprising for a movie to have more (but it would be worth checking other big films with a lot of atheletes in cameos -- Any Given Sunday, The Longest Yard remake, The Blind Side, For the Love of the Game, 61*, etc.)

I think I didn't look at Draft Day was because I thought the whole idea of the movie was pretty dumb. As if sports films have run out of every possible formula so they dig up player drafting. ;-) That is an impressive list, not sure if I want to get that far back into sports sig collecting. I'm ok with it as long as the player has an actual part...like Lawrence Taylor in Any Given Sunday. Jim Brown, Rhonda Rousey and Howie Long are other great examples. Funny, I was looking up a Joe Namath autograph for something the other day.....can't remember what it was. I do have a folder for Any Given Sunday. Still fishing for a couple of sigs. I guess there could be two records, 1 with a mix of sport and non sport and one with just non sport. ____________________ Just because it's rare doesn't mean it's valuable.

"Blue Chips" looks to be another movie where you not only have a number of legit actors with signed cards, you could overwhelm it with BK player cards as well. Check the cast. Bob Cousy and Shaquille O'Neal have real acting roles, as well (although Shaq was never in the running for an Oscar that year).

Ok, on a pure non-sport release. If I count the uncredited roles, Fanboys has 17. If Ethan Suplee signs for Chasing Amy it will be 18. ____________________ Just because it's rare doesn't mean it's valuable.
