I won an item from a Seller with a 100 percent positive feedback. It said that my card was sent to a third party authenticator. What does that mean ? It was just a promo card.

Usually trading cards are sent to Ebay's authenticator when the value is $250.00 US and above. Did you pay more than $250.00?

On another forum, the consensus is that raw cards over $250.00 are being sent to PSA in NJ & CA.

I am in a similar situation. Won the item 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. Seller says it was sent to the authenticator. Tracking says that the authenticator has had it since Nov 20 or so. No movement. How long does this take ?
