Picked this up at CollectormaniaGmex,only £10.You can't make out from the photo but the swatch has 8 stitch holes and a piece of silver silver thread still attached.

Nope... there is a distinct shade difference. I scanned them in together so there shouldn't be a difference in the scan.

I'm thinking the darker version is from the sleeves and the lighter version from the bodice.

It makes me wonder if there's another version of the cuffs.

I like your variants Redemption! I think that you may be onto something with the location of the cut pieces- if you look at the stitching, it is noticeably different. Nice find!
