Hi all, I've begun collecting printing plates. I think the screw down, mounted printer plates are best for these cards but pricey. Are there any 'risks' in storing them in regular binders like other cards? I've heard they can be damaged by light? (direct sunlight or hot desk lamps). I'm concerned if I store them incorrectly they'll be damaged or devalued or won't 'last'. Any thoughts or advice? Thanks.

Yeah that's a question I'm not sure anyone can answer with absolute certainty. I am storing them in regular Ultra Pro pages. I don't have that many, but I do have a fair number of metal cards, including Valyrian Steel. I don't want to maintain separate storage for them. So far the pages are doing fine and I see no damage being done. Might it effect the metal cards in ten years? I don't know. I'll find out in ten years. Light hurts everything, so constant display will usually result in some color changes. I'm assuming the same with metal as cardboard.
