Hey catskilleagle, how are things in sunny CA? Loving the Rams?
The phony "delivery click" happened to me at least 3 times last year. The mailman runs late or skips the day altogether, but he/she has these tracking packages that say "arrives today". So they just scan them as having been delivered and toss them in next day's delivery, figuring no one will care. That's when you can see delivery times at 9:58 PM.

Problem is, sometimes they are temps on the route, and they put the packages where they are not found the next day. Or they just lose them altogether, so that no one knows they didn't do the job until they are gone and the customers come in to report it. I had 3 eBay tracked orders missing for 4 days, all supposedly delivered by a temp on the same day at 9:40 at night. I filed a postal complaint. My regular mailman finally found them at the PO stuck somewhere he wouldn't say. I think I would have had a hard time claiming eBay refunds when they were marked as delivered. The other times it happened they did come the next postal day. But it isn't that unusual, just bad employees trying to cover up.
