Chesspieceface, I noticed your drawing has really brought all the old-time Card-Talkers out of the woodwork, including me, of course!

I've noticed that, and it's nice to see!
It's getting to where you'd have to be pretty lucky to win, which was my goal, but I'm going to have a consolation prize now, so I'll leave this open a little longer, since there will be two "winners". Get those entries in!

OK, we've got 22 entries by my count, so let's take 2 more entries after this post to get to an even 24 and I'll do the drawing.

(If I miscounted, don't worry, I'll still take the next two entries after this post). I'll also post a full list before drawing so everyone sees who's in and I can be corrected if I left someone out.

Basically once I have the entries, I'm going to write each of your names on 24 playing cards from an old deck, shuffle them up very well and I'll take the 8th and 20th card going down starting from the top to pick the two winners.

I like you all the same anyway, but this method of drawing couldn't be more random, so everyone will have the exact same shot, basically a 1 in 12 chance, not especially easy, but also not crazy hard.

So two more entries after this here update will be accepted, and then we shall all know who.

This just made me remember a pact I had with a very dear friend of mine. His name was Mike Cohee. he was a seller of Non-Sport cards for about 20 years. he even set up at the Philly show with Geary Kauffman once or twice at Bensalem. We always talked about going to the Comic-Con and we agreed that when I retired we would make the trip out! Well, Mike passed away about 5 years ago and I just retired late last year, so this would have been the first one we could have gone to together! I think maybe Mike had a hand in the cookie jar to help me win! Thank-you Mike Cohee and Chesspieceface!!!
