So run right out and stock up on all those Pop Century Alec Baldwin autograph cards. This guy is unbelievable and should get a medal for something. While facing a manslaughter charge next month for the unfortunate mistake of pointing a gun at someone on a movie set (he didn't know it was loaded with live ammo and claims to have not pulled the trigger), he is launching a reality TV show called very originally enough "The Baldwins".

Now this one is on his current family, with his made up "Spanish" wife Hilaria (formerly Hillary of Boston) and their seven kids, 19 months to ten years old. The trailer promises so much family fun. No mention of his other kids or any family members that may have existed before these two peas-in-a-pod found each other. No mention of that inconvenient death.

The Baldwins will be on TLC in 2025, unless something happens to upend it, like maybe sane viewers. The Baldwins are too fake for fake reality TV. Wink

And for the record, I did enjoy a few of his performances at one time, but it falls under one of those existential questions. Does the art absolve the artist? Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. I wouldn't touch an Alec Baldwin autograph if you offered it to me for free. Roll Eyes

Remember during that 5 or 10 minutes when The Learning Channel was actually dedicated to Learning?

Apparently Hilaria gets to name the kids. They are: Carmen Gabriela, María Lucía Victoria, Ilaria Catalina Irena, Rafael Thomas, Leonardo Ángel Charles, Romeo Alejandro David, and Eduardo "Edu" Pao Lucas.

I still haven't managed to pick up a single 2024 Pop Century card after buying a ton of 2023.

I've bid on a few, but lost them all.

I did recently buy a couple of Leaf 'Continuum' cards, which I think might be their weekly set. . .

The autographs I bought were people who I was looking for in 2024 Pop Century, but the continuum cards were just as nice (if not nicer), and a bit cheaper.

Pop Century releases used to be an 'event' for me. . . But now there are so many repeat signers, and they release product with the same signers over and over and over it really lost it's sense of urgency for me.

On the plus side there are now a ton of designs . . .

Once again several pick ups for me especially with many new signers I had been hoping would eventually sign.

Beverly D'Angelo
Bryce Dallas Howard
Cuba Gooding Jr
Donna Mills
Jason Lee
Jason/Jeremy London
Laurence Fishburne
Michael Douglas
Penelope Ann Miller
and believe it or not Rosie O'Donnell which added another sig to my League of their Own cast.

Also picked up some Pearl cards. The Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon cards look much nicer than the ones I have.

I forgot Jason Lee signed -- I was really interested when I saw that announced, but I hate the picture they used.

Somehow I missed that Rosie O'Donnell signed.

There are some great names I'm still looking for like Gene Hackman, Laurence Fishburne and others, but mostly I'm either losing bids or hoping for prices to come down.

I totally agree on the Pearl cards -- they look nicer than anything we've seen from Leaf in a while.

Very cool -- some brand new names and some rare signers in there too.

I'm very interested in Juliette Lewis. The picture they used on the Electrum card is pretty good.

I picked up Moriarty and Arquette for my Cop Land and Pulp Fiction casts. Very disappointed in the Kelly Reilly signature, I have not seen one yet but I am assuming Barrymore will be her standard "DB heart"

I have a couple of Lewis sigs from a convention. Although her cards don't look bad her natural sig is high so the stickers are a bit of a constraint.
