So far they are saying that one person in California won the Jackpot so far...

No news yet if there are other winners from other states.

Looks like at least two other states had winners, so there will be no newly minted billionaires to hobnob with the Warren Buffetts, Mark Zuckerbergs, Mark Cubans, Donald Trumps, and Dr. Dres of the world, alas.

I'm sure the first announced winners from out here in California will be pleased with their final share of it, but I wonder, when it was finally known there were to be other winners to split the pot with them, did they, even for a instant lament the literally hundreds of million dollars they "lost" in that moment? Probably (hopefully) not.

I think that is a bit unfair... but it is still a lot of money they never had before.

There are no state taxes on lottery in California, so that winner (also) has that going for them...
