Curious to know what people think about toys that come with batteries sealed in a clam shell pack. The only way to open it is to physically cut the plastic the toy is enclosed in. If you keep it mint you will have a toy over time that will no longer work as the battery starts to destroy the toy. If you open it you no longer have a mint package. I am also curious to know how people feel about cards and greeting cards that have batteries in them that are not easily removed without doing damage to the item.

Surely if you keep it mint it doesn't matter if the toy works or not as you never open it.
