Went to my first (and only so far) yard sale on Saturday after we closed down our yard sale (went poorly). What I found amazed me. There was a guy there selling sealed older (dumped) non-sport boxes and he made me a deal: 4 boxes for a dollar. I decided on another box before I left and got that for a quarter as well.

What I got was:

American Bandstand from Collect-A-Card
Fox Kids Network by Fleer
Disney 101 Dalmations by Skybox
Super Stars Musicards by ProSet.

Nothing earth shattering, but easily worth more than a quarter, at least to me!

He also had some older game trading cards which I passed on. I got 1 box of each type of regular non-sport trading cards that he had. He seemed desperate to unload them. I probably could have gotten everything he had for $5 or less, but my wife was giving me the evil eye worried about how much space these things would take up.

It was great starting off the yard sale season with a find of non-sports cards... I was happy. Now I will have something for open that box day for NSU Card Talk... Probably the American Bandstand cards...
