wolfieNFL 2025/26
So it's that's time again when the new season starts and i dream about my Dolphins getting to the superbowl and once again i will be dissapointed.
Still, at least we have a nice easy game to start with.

catskilleagleJalen Carter spat on Dak Prescott and was ejected in the Cowboys-Eagles game, but when Teair Tart forcefully slapped Travis Kelce in the Chiefs-Chargers game, he was not ejected. He was just flagged with a personal foul - 15 yards. At the time, the announcers said the explanation was that he used an open hand rather than a fist. That's still a forceful blow and at least as unsportsmanlike as spitting. More players are going to do it if it's just a 15-yard penalty.

wolfieI was right, we are the strongest team in the afc, we are holding all the other teams up.

catskilleagleThat Baltimore-Buffalo game was incredible - one of the classic NFL games of all time. It reminded me of a Chargers-Dolphins game from the 80's when Dan Fouts and Don Strock were shooting it out.
And then the Monday night game was fantastic too. Minnesota was doing almost nothing and then McCarthy threw that pick-6 and seemed to be over. The kid dusted himself off and led the team to three consecutive touchdown drives and Chicago got a touchdown to make it close at the end.
It must be one of the great wins in Vikings history. They mentioned Fran Tarkenton at one point. I remember him scrambling all over the place before finding a receiver downfield for a first down or a touchdown. He would join the broadcast crew of Monday Night Football after he retired and he was good at that too.

catskilleagleWell, we're already up to Week 4. The NFL season always goes by fast.
Miami played better against Buffalo than I thought they would so there's still hope even though they're 0-3.
The upset of the year so far is Cleveland beating Green Bay and Cleveland came from behind to do it.
Atlanta beat Minnesota but then couldn't score a point on Carolina on Sunday. That was weird.
Detroit looks like they're getting back to where they were early last year.
It was great to see Tampa Bay in their late 70's uniform. People say it's ugly and some didn't like it back then, but it's great now. I remember their first season in '76 (when Seattle started too).

I feel your pain, as the Saints are doing the same thing for the NFC.

catskilleagleWow, Baltimore is falling apart. It seems like more teams are getting a lot of injuries. The 49ers are in trouble. Arizona had injuries in the first couple of weeks.
Of course, the good news is Miami got their first win Monday night. It was great to see it.
We're already on the eve of Week 5. Detroit might destroy Cincinnati with a score like 45-6.
