Almost 25 Years
I noticed from Card Talk that I am almost up to 5,000 posts over the past 24.5 years.

Hard to believe it has been almost a quarter of a century! That went by so quickly.

Looks like there were several Card Talkers that started year in the year 2000, before me. Which of you were here in '00? I started in 2001.

Looks like this incarnation of Card Talk will celebrate 25 years on November 29, 2025. NSU Card Talk used several other forum platforms which predate this one including UBB in the 90s.

David, I started in 2002 and I passed 5000 posts several days ago. You will jump to the next member level metal when you do.

Harris, who were the first Card Talkers who signed up in 2000, do you know ?

It saddens me as to how many members have passed away: Bill DeFranzo, Mike Tilford, and of course, your mom. Who else is no longer with us ?

After me, it was Lynne Stewart and Paul Bines. Then it was Alan Biegel, Don Norton, and xtime.

Don Norton
That Don Nortor is a shifty guy and doesn't post much.
I, however, signed up in Dec., 2000.

Typing too fast. Sorry Don "Nortor" Norton. Smile

And yes, Alan, Don, and xtime were all early December registrations. The only November '00 registrations were myself, Lynne, and Paul. Lynne and Paul were my sounding board and probably helped with 'proof of concept'. Big Grin

Looking at my start date, it was 14th October 2001 so 5 months later than David but my number of posts is well behind David's with 2219 including this one.

It looks like a few of us have been here for 20-25 years. For myself i have really enjoyed the time spent here and love to read what other people think about the hobby and the cards they collect.

I think it's Wolfie and then several thousand behind it's Raven. Maybe Harris around a thousand behind her.
