Royal Mail have finally clarified Small Packet vs Letter for Airmail. http://www.royalmail.com/sites...0February%202013.pdf Unfortunately anything over 5mm thick is now deemed a small packet ![]() Which means something (at current prices) which did go for £1.28 will have to in some cases go for £3.30. ____________________ Is beginning to realize that collecting cards is like an itch that never goes away......

Wow, 5mm is pretty drastic. Ours is 3/4", so there is some room for envelopes with a topload to make it as a letter. Ed ____________________ I may be going to hell in a bucket, but at least I'm enjoying the ride. -"Touch of Grey" by The Greatful Dead

For domestic mail in the UK we have three size rates- Letter, Large Letter and Packet. The maximum you can have for Letter is 5mm so I guess that's where they got it from. ____________________ Is beginning to realize that collecting cards is like an itch that never goes away......
