566 online now, been like that all day. Like I said in the other thread, I don't know what's going on today, but if all these people really are reading Card Talk, I wish some of them would sign in and say something. Everybody wants to read, but very few want to write.

catskilleagleMaybe they don't like public speaking. It would be great if more people posted comments and images.

RavenWow, 693 guests on Card Talk. I can't recall ever seeing that many at one time. As no new posters are popping up, even though the numbers have been increasing for several days, I really don't know if we have expanded our readership or it's just a glitch.

catskilleagleThere's not just a lot of pictures and prices here. There's a lot of background information that has accumulated over 20 years. This site continues to be a resource for collectors who want to learn more about their cards beyond the latest sale. When I'm looking for more about a card I haven't seen before, I certainly do a search here.

RavenNot sure I get it. Right now there are 861 guests on Card Talk and me. People are reading, but in recent weeks I've noticed a real lull in posting. Many of the regulars have slowed down. Even I can't find a heck of a lot to say because there is so little conversation or expansion of topics.
Are all these guests just catching up on old threads? Doesn't anybody new want to add something or ask something or just say something? If people want to use Card Talk, then they have to contribute to it or there will be nothing there relevant to the current state of the hobby.
And it's 1311 guests now. Is this counter right?

catskilleagleI've looked at the number of guests over the past several weeks - rather low numbers. Something posted over the past few days must've spurred this sudden burst of interest.
Yeah, it's tough to come up with something new/different to say. It gets to the point where we're all waiting for someone to say something so we can react to it. People are busy, though. They're on the move - not as many people in the local supermarkets because they're on vacation especially this past week.
It's 462 and me now - not bad for 1am EDT.
