We already have "The Only Member Logged In" thread, but I was curious about the amounts of "guests" that have you've noticed on the forums. I think there's a bunch of non-sport card collectors finding their way to Card Talk Wavey but haven't made an account or logged-in yet.

Usually, I notice around 30 guests. More recently, I started to see the number going into the low-50's. This afternoon, I noticed 74 guests (and 6 members) Eek

How much guests have you noticed?

Hopefully, more guests will become members and add more variety to the conversations Thumb Up

The guests always significantly outnumber the members, but you have to remember that many of those guests may be members who just didn't log in. I often read the forum without logging in. Only if I want to post something do I sign in. Many people don't want to post, so they just come to read. Problem is, someone has to write something to have anything new to read. Big Grin

I have noticed a few new members lately and a couple of old names, so maybe things are picking up a little.

I wish more sport card collectors would convert, but I'm not sure that they are. I think you could guess that Marvel movies have as much, if not more, to do with increased card interest than disenfranchised sports card fans. That, and just the chance to pull high value autographs that is attracting some high dollar flippers to premium non-sport products.

In any event, more voices on Card Talk could only provide a wider range of opinions and experiences, so yeah, let's hope so.

It always seems like there's about 40 guests when I get on and that's even at 130am my time (430am on the east coast).

When I am on my phone, I do not log in unless I want to post, so I am usually clocked in as a guest.

I've noticed the past week that there have been more than 100 guests almost every time I checked the site. Right now, at just after 2am (PST), there are 144 guests.

Wow, 321 guests!?!?! Eek

And here I was thinking today’s 154 guests plus 4 people logged in was a pretty strong number.

the number of guests is getting larger there is the thought that if you do not log out you are classed as a guest but that theory dose not hold water as when i enter the forum my title comes up as being on the forum and I never log out so if the other 300 odd members have not logged out why arent their names on the list of logged in names .
I have never seen more than at least a dozen members logged in at the same time.
Come on all you watchers sign up to the forum you may have information we need and it will give the forum a more solid base.
