There was a different Nosferatu promo numbered HC-1WP which was available through the Wrapper magazine back in October. Unfortunately, they are all gone.

Did anyone get one ?

The company has 2 free promos available by sending in separate SASEs. One for the Horror Cinema set and one for Phantom of the Opera. One offer ends Jan 31. See here.

blimey i didn't think international responce coupons even existed any more. Why not just accept a few dollars to cover it.

You are right Wolfie, shown below is some text from Wikipedia that I have copied from their article "International Reply Coupons"

Prices for IRCs vary by country. In the United States in November 2012, the purchase price was $2.20[6] USD; however, the US Postal Service discontinued sales of IRCs on 27 January 2013 due to declining demand.[7] Britain's Royal Mail also stopped selling IRCs on 31 December 2011, citing minimal sales and claiming that the average post office sold less than one IRC per year. IRCs purchased in foreign countries may be used in the United States toward the purchase of postage stamps and embossed stamped envelopes at the current one-ounce First Class International rate (US$1.20 as of November 2020) per coupon.

The article does state however that IRC's are still available in other countries and that members of the UPU must honour them for the purchase of stamps.

regards

John

I remember the days of getting IRC's for Inkworks & RA promo's, so my post office sold more than one a year LOL!

I used to use lots of those IRCs writing away to agents for actor autographs in the 80s/90s/00s. They were such a cheap, easy way to try and guarantee a little more success of a reply. So, yeah, my Post Office sold many more than 1 a year. So very handy for those promo card deals, too. Big Grin

I contacted the company regarding the lack of use of IRC's from the UK and I received the following message

Absolutely, you're are the 3rd person to mention having issues with the coupons, so we just updated our policy on the website to reflect the issue.
"International collectors may request promo cards sent via First-Class Mail International Letter for the fee of $5.00 US*. Payment should be made via PayPal to the following: groovygreengravy@yahoo.com"
In the paypal payment list the name of which promotion you are requesting.
Thank you for your interest in our titles. Be sure to keep an eye out for the full Phantom of the Opera coming this spring on Kickstarter. And if you are interested in picking up any of our previous Kickstarters, we do have limited stock available.
Best Regards,
RL Hodge

Apologies to RL Hodge for not asking for permission to print the reply.

regards

John

They have at least 4 promos so far, 2 of which were through the Kickstarter (1 of those 2 was also from the Wrapper) and the 2 new free sendaway ones.

John, could you possibly post all 4 images here before we lose them ? There are links for all of them on this thread. Thanks !

David

I found the Wrapper promo and I realised that the back I posted was in fact its back. I have not yet identified the fourth promo however.

John
