I've kept every issue of the magazine. With the price guide being separate, I've discarded them to save some space. What does everyone else do with them?

My automatic responce was to save every magazine and every price guide but then i got to thinking what i was saving them for.

The price guide is of no use when the next issue comes out as it has been superseeded so why bother to keep that. Do you intend to sell them? Who would want to buy 100 out of date price guides? I think they are heading for the trash.

I can understand keeping the mag to peruse at a later date or sell on, some of the mags are no longer available from NSU.

Where to put them all, now that is a more difficult question, i can only just about reach my bed now. Big Grin

I read and keep the Magazine, the price guide goes in the garbage. I wish they would have left it attached to the magazine and not have it separate.

So far I have kept all the mags and the price guides.

Late at night I like to take out the old issues, look up what my cards used to be worth (in theory of course) and cry. Big Grin

I keep the price guide...rolled-up, it fits nicely in a front-blue-jeans pocket for easy access at a convention.

Usually don't keep the magazine part after reading....

I really enjoy the price guide, I get to use my magnifying glass and my bi-focals to read it. Big Grin I keep all of them in magazine holders. ( Too bad I missed the issue with Mickey Mouse on the cover Frown ).

Why not "grangerize" your unwanted back issues? Add interesting adverts, articles, tie-ins
to a particular card set. I imagine most of us collect in albums "official" or homemade.
Get some quality 8 1/2 X 11 (or whatever size you use)sheet protectors (top-loaders)and slip
that interesting advert, article, etc. into your collection. The possibilities are almost
endless. I've seen some truly interesting collections from our brethen in the Sports Card
field (team stats, roosters, autographed photos, etc.) One collection of the Baltimore O's
had DVD's of all the games played in a particular season. Now that is one DEDICATED fan!
Why limit yourself to a "sell sheet" and maybe a checklist (thanks Jeff!). GO NUTS! HAVE SOME
FUN! Make that collection truly" yours".

I usually receive 2 copies of every issue. One for myself and the other to mock-up, scribble on etc.

I autograph the mocked up copies of the magazine and the price guide then donate them to charity auctions. I then write them off at the rate of $200.00 per signature. I have held back a few signed copies and have stashed them away in the attic for the next generation to find and cherish.

Hey, I'm entitled to my fantasies! Roll Eyes

We deliver (Lip prints are extra - we will pay you $8.00)! Can I recommend the breadsticks with that?
