H_ToserThanks all. As soon as Tom from SideKick sent over these images as an interesting aside, I knew it was something that would make for an interesting pictorial. We don't get to see these behind the scenes shot too much.

kane1It is interesting to see the process of making trading cards.
I saw Mr. Lipman checking the cards in various photos. I hope big companies begin to it more often.
One question about Bubble Gum in this boxes. Are like the one in old boxes? You know in direct contact with cards. Because I saw how easy the Bubble Gum destroyed complete packs of cards.

TheUberBobIf memory serves the caption on the picture said the bubble gum was cello wrapped. In fact, I think it said it was bought in bulk lots from Topps so it's probably like the gum found in sets like Indiana Jones Heritage. At least that's what it seemed like to me.

H_ToserYes, it's exactly as UberBob says. The gum is in cello packs and is the same packs of gum found in the Heritage products.

kane1 TheUberBob, thanks for the answer. I asked because I had bad experience with Topps' Superman Cards.

TheUberBobMy pleasure! I remember the old days when the gum wasn't wrapped and would stain and stick to the card is was packed on.
