Equally they may have made outlandish bids due to the fact that they could not obtain the card having already spent xx$ on the magazine or alternatively not found the magazine available where they reside. For example living here in the UK it has been many years since I saw the magazine on sale on a bookstall or newsagents hence why I had a subscription. Personally I would have liked the opportunity to be able to purchase additional copies when multiple promo cards were distributed but that option was never really available and finding a copy on sale here was very sporadic. The store I mostly saw the magazine in was Borders when they had a few stores in London.
