Just got my latest issue, with A Christmas Story's Peter Billingsly on the cover. 4 promos this time, A Christmas Story P2 from Cryptozoic, Lost In Space P1 from Monsterwax, Currency BP9 from Cardsmiths and Trilogy of Horror (Coffintooth, Psycho Ape Part 2, Slasher Nurse) from RR Parks. Issue looks really good, Top 10 is Just for Laughs, TV's funniest sets. There is also a great article looking at Star Pics Saturday Night Live Set.This message has been edited. I picked up a copy a couple of days ago. It was great to find four promos inside. It was interesting to see that a case of 1976 Star Trek boxes had sold at auction.
Commenting on the Cardboard Conversation editorial, it's true there hasn't been a full-fledged "Seinfeld" set but there was a 4-card promo set given out at a New York Mets game in 2019. If someone asked Seinfeld in person about doing a trading card set, maybe he would have it done.
Great articles on "E.T." and "Saturday Night Live" cards. Jimmy Fallon wasn't included in the set because he didn't appear on the show until the late 90's.
Looking at the "Top 10 Just for Laughs" article, I realized I didn't have any of those sets but do have several of the promos. There are actually four (not 3) "Mr. Bean" promos. We still don't know where it came from - shown below.
