I'm posting this here as several people have reported not receiving the e-mailing of the note that follows, sent last Friday.

Dear NSU Card Talk Member:

As everyone is aware, times are tough. This is especially true in publishing and in some ways, more so in our market where some card manufacturers are having difficulties and cutting advertising budgets. Revenue generated from our magazine has always paid the costs associated with our online forum, NSU Card Talk, such as hosting. With advertising down, however, this gets tougher and tougher. We have explored a number of ways to help cut forum costs and have discussed implementing several changes. But in the end, we would like to leave things as they are and are asking our forum members for assistance. If you have found NSU Card Talk to be a valuable resource even once this year, we are asking for a one-year, yearly donation of $10.00 or more. If we receive that small amount from a number of our users, then no changes will be necessary.

You may also consider subscribing to Non-Sport Update. This helps keep the forum going as well. But even more so, you’ll be investing in your hobby and you’ll receive the magazine every other month along with the included promotional cards, articles, a schedule of upcoming products, price guide, and more.
