I just got back from the July 2010 Burbank show. It was definitely the worst autograph line-up in the 5 years I've been attending, and to make matters worse, about 10 of the 77 guests cancelled at the last moment including the top two stars, George Hamilton and Angie Dickinson.

I only picked up two in-person autos, so I used the rest of my cash to pick up some autos from dealers.

Wonder how difficult it will be to get Mike Nesmith's auto on the Monkees group shot. Since Mike is from Texas and Mickey D. lives in the DFW area, maybe you can contact Mickey and ask him? (Mickey is fairly accessible...)

None of these guys were regular autograph show guests until Micky Dolenz started doing them 2 years ago. Davy Jones did his first show for charity last year, and I believe Peter Tork is just getting into the autograph shows. With Mike Nesmith's money and with him usually being the holdout for reunions, I doubt he'll be showing up anytime soon. I heard that the show has contacted him with no luck.
Also, with the rarity of meeting Davy Jones in person, I wouldn't want to take the chance of trying to mail the picture to Nesmith.

Don't blame you there... How I luved the Monkees albums in the sixties! STILL HAVE'EM TOO...

A friend of mine ran into Davy Jones in a pub when she was working in the UK in the 90's and got him to autograph the back of one of her business cards for me.
