Hope you're not taking chocolates, Batman. The Brits hate our chocolate. Dave Brown and some of the others tell me there's no chocolate in our chocolate!! Living so close to Hershey, this pains me. You'd be better off taking peanut butter or Lucky Charms. That stuff runs like $12 a package in the UK!

You CAN get more American candy/drinks/cereal/food products in the UK now as specialist (yes, seriously considered specialist here as it's not common) American food/product stores (UK based) are appearing on our high streets and online.

Cereal is about £7 ($12??) a box.

Most candy starts at about £2 ($5??) a bar and of course depends on quantity/type/brand etc.

Not cheap for 'luxury' food but oh so yummy!

Oh and I hope I can make the Brummy (Birmingham) show Big Grin Would be a nice Birthday weekend! Bouncey

Yes, we will have several things this year. We'll have a subscription/renewal offer as usual. I don't know the rate yet but it will be in line with previous years.

Also, we will have a special variant version of the upcoming Dec/Jan issue that we'll be announcing later in the week. Should be a good one!

And finally, we'll be offering some promo cards at a good rate.

Thanks for asking AUST.

Seems apt - in the US, there are British Food stores selling typical British foodstuffs for much the same inflated (due to importation costs no doubt) prices! Harris took me to a couple whilst I was over last year - now I know why he stocks up on HobNobs when he's here! Big Grin

Just to follow-up on this...We talked a bit about this year today. Unless there is a wild fluctuation of the Pound to Dollar, we will have the same subscription/renewal special at Memorabilia as last year -- Subscribe or renew for £28. That's a great savings over the $60 non-show rate.

Again, the caveats are...1) It will not be £28 if there is a big difference in the GBP to USD rate and 2) The £28 rate is good at Memorabilia only.

Gotta cover myself, you know. Big Grin

And as stated above, we'll have a really cool variant cover specifically for Memorabilia and some other cool offers. We'll have some really good offerings this year, if I do say so myself (and I guess I just did Smile ). We were able to work up some cool things due to the timing of the show this year.

Hope to see lots of Card Talk members at the show.
