I moved it here Ace per a suggestion from another member. The thread was moved to the promo forum since it relates to promos more so then Shows & Conventions.

So you moved it to " New Promo Releases ( not card related ) ".
They were all cards. They were all Promo "Cards" that were given out at San Diego Comic Convention this year (2016)! Why is this not card or Convention related?
Sounds a little political. Maybe stealing a little thunder from a special interest.

A set of the hard to assemble IMDB cards (30 in the set) showing various characters from movies (Star Wars, Suicide Squad, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, etc) recently sold for $ 750 !

Wow! Who would think that with all those crazy short run Upper Deck issues that this would be the most expensive base set of the year!

I'm pretty sure they were in sealed packs at SDCC, and you needed a bunch of packs to make a set. good luck. There are only a few singles around now, from what I can see.

Glad I have about half of a set! Now we will find out how truly rare they are. If that price doesn't bring some into the marketplace they must really be scarce.

You are correct. Makes the IMDb Set seem like a .99 cent store bargain!
