FreddyAttleboro, Mass show this weekend
Well, after a couple months hiatus the Attleboro, Mass. 'Card, Comic, & Toy Show' is this Sunday August 21 between 10 AM & 3 PM. Admission is $3 {$1 off if your on their mailing list}.
It's great to have a good show that's about 35 minutes away. Take a look around and look through some binders.

Mr. Wolf,
If it's that bad over there why don't you and or another card member start a small show ? Host it in a church hall, charge for table rentals, a small admission, and bring in cards, comics, and toys. Just a thought.
I also have attend another smaller card show, once a month, that's about 25 minutes from me, but that's mainly sports cards. I would like to rent a table, but i don't have that many duplicates to sell nor extra non sports sets. And that's held at a VFW Hall.
There used to be a gentleman that used to sell both non sport and sport, but he moved away.

That's why I really look forward to the Attleboro, Massachusetts show.

Dave MoulderI'll be there Sunday Freddy, we reloaded the promo book again after the open house.
Maybe Wolfie could host an open house party like we had this summer. I might fly over for that.

Great to hear, Mr. Moulder. See you Sunday. I'll be there early again, so be ready. LOL
As for another "house party"...I'm just waiting for my brother to get a day off.
And if you ever fly to the UK for cards, just give me an email. My Passport is up to date !

We had so much fun this summer that we are thinking of expandng it to once a season. The Original "Dave's Birthday open house party" have always been fun, but really don't want to work that hard on my Birthday.

FreddyWell, it doesn't have to be "on your Bday". A week before or a week after is alright with us.
I'll see you on Sunday.
Ciao.

How come I'm never invited to the open house? Do you serve food? Are you afraid (justifiably)that I will eat too much?

Next time Bill you're invited. This one was a last minute thing. Unfortunately, there's only so much room in the addition, plus we're a long drive from NH. Presents are required for the Birthday open house.

Dave,
Is there a Plainville, Ct. show on August 28th ?
If yes, are you going again ?
I know about the big three day show in Waterbury, at the Coco Key resort, on September 23rd-25th.

ByrnaFigured I'd bring this back closer to the top since the show is this Sunday (8/21).
Looks like the weather's due to be good, no rain until after show hours (show ends at 3:00pm).
In case anyone's reading this and has not read our posts before - this is a Collectibles Show, action figures, models, diecast, nonsport cards, comics. Longest running collectibles show in New England..
As always, B&B will be set up at our regular booth space with nonsport cards galore

It's a fun show, low-key, friendly folks on both sides of the tables who love to chat about their hobby. And the promoter of the show (Harry Martin) is an advertiser with NSU Magazine and sells vintage nonsports as well as model kits.
Looking forward to seeing a bunch of you folks there!
