Details of the Card Talk session at the Fall Philly Non-Sports Card Show have just been posted and you can now sign up.

Once again, the Hilton Garden Inn has an event at the hotel so we have had to move the session to Chess N Checkers, just like last show. There will again be a small entry fee ($6.00)

The topic for this gathering's panel will be the upcoming card series from new trading card manufacturer Retro Drive. Retro Drive's Bobby Ray Akers Jr. will speak about the company's upcoming Blood Drive: The Parody Collection trading cards and the planned Kickstarter campaign. Joining Bobby will be SideKick's Tom Lichtman, who is also involved in the projects and has worked on previous Kickstater campaigns for other companies.

As usual, we'll discuss what's new with the Philly Show at the start and offer up a few prizes at the close of the meeting. All registered Card Talk members (registered as of September 10, 2016) will be eligible to win any prizes we have.

The gathering will start at 8:15 on Sunday, October 16 and will last approximately one hour. Light refreshments will be served including coffee, donuts, and bagels.

We invite all Card Talk members (and their guests) attending the show to come to the gathering. Space will be limited. I have sent invites through the Eventbrite system to many of you who have attended previously.

Please only sign-up if you can make it, as we hate to turn anyone away and then have empty seats. We're using the EventBrite system once again to facilitate sign-up:

When signing up, be sure to supply your "real" name and forum ID for each person you are RSVP'ing for (guests are welcome too - please be sure to supply guests full name for the name badges). The deadline to sign up is Wednesday, October 5, or while space permits.

Thanks for all the sign-ups today! Just a quick reminder that there is a small sign-up fee of $6.00 to attend the session. Unfortunately, since we were unable to secure space at the Hilton Garden Inn once again, we have to charge a fee for attending the event at Chess N Checkers.

Many people who signed up did not remit the $6 fee. If you are one of them, please remit $6.00 per attendee via PayPal to info@phillynon-sportscardshow.com. Otherwise, I will have to hunt you down

Just a quick reminder -- The deadline to sign up for the Card Talk session is next week so time is running out. Don't delay.
