Since you brought up food... is there any authentic Chicago pizza in the area? 'Cause I really need to try some on this visit.
It's about 15 minutes south of the hotel. I recommended the place last year to out-of-towners and these seemed pleased.

Hello All! Kurt from Monsterwax emailed to let us know, that they will be making a special promo Exclusive to the Chicago Expo, from an upcoming Monsterwax set, limited to the first 250 people through the door! So come early and spend the weekend with us!

I just waded through a few of the on-line reviews. They seem to do deep dish right. They lose points on service and other stuff unrelated to the quality of its pizza. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Bill DeFranzo,

OK, another way to support Treasure Chest AND get cool cards too!
I'm going to bring a my back stock of Scifi Cards promos. P1 to P9, and 2 correction cards.
For a $2 donation to Treasure Chest, you can get 1 card. Limit of 2 of each card per person (one for you, one to trade. I understand how that works).
So, it's a perfect way to fill in some holes in your collection and support the great cause too.

Besides pizza also consider checking out the Italian style roast beef and polish sausage. The Chicago area has a large population of Italian and Polish Americans with plenty of good food from both!

So true! Liz found us a small family run Italian place not too far from the hotel when we were at C2E2 this year. The food was great and we ended up eating there every night. I almost always will give a local restaurant a try over a chain store.
