As we are a month away and getting close, we will once again be gathering at the Red Robin (soon to be known simply as "the bombast"; see Alan's editorial in the new NSU)on Saturday night after the show. We always have a great time, come and get some food and drink, and hang out with other collectors, artists, and dealers and talk cards, make trades, or just shoot the breeze about anything. I will let them know we are coming and I think 9:30 will be a good start time so everyone can hang out for a bit and still get in bed early enough as the Card Talk gathering is bright and early the next morning!

As those who have attended before know we have fun doing group box breaks for added entertainemnt but keep in mind that the next weekend is "Open That Box Day" but if you have a box to spare please bring it to the gathering!

Remember everyone is welcome to join us so come and have some fun and relax!

Did you or are you going to commission a project with one of the artists? In the past we have been fortunate in having most of the artists join us at the Red Robin. Get to know them personally. Come on over!

As has been the tradition, the first round of hor d'euvres is on me! So come hungry but not too hungry.

I just talked to my brother Tom {aka: McCheese...} we'll attend, too. Since we'll be staying right across the parking lot it wont be that far of a trek for us.

Now the party is getting started!

Be Sure and tip the waitress. I felt so bad for the young lady in Oct. She was trying so hard and everyone was ordering water, sodas and a few beers. She looked like she was going to cry so I gave her 20.00 for a Soda and told her to keep the rest as her tip.

I always make sure she gets taken care of at the end of the night.
