Some suggested that we hold the Philly Non-Sports Card Show on Fri/Sat instead of Sat/Sun, as it currently is. If held on Fri/Sat, the hours would be later in the day on Friday like it used to be to allow dealers to drive in and set up before the show gets underway later in the day, at least, those that are able to do so in the time allotted.

This has come up before and we've considered this many times. To get an answer once and for all, we surveyed vendors, manufacturers, and collectors. Below are the results.

Fri/Sat - 16 (41.6%)
Sat only - 1 (2.5%)
Either - 1 (2.5%)

8 did not respond but 83% answered

Attendees:
Sat/Sun - 70 (73.7%)
Fri/Sat - 25 (26.3%)

Bearing in mind your work schedule, would you be able to attend

Yes - 51 (53.7%)
No - 44 (46.3%)

Attendees were asked when the attended the last Philly Show

Attendees:

Fall 2011 - 58 (61.7%)
Spring 2011 - 20 (21.3%)
Previously - 16 (17.0%)

Conclusion: Sat/Sun is favored by both groups and especially the attendees. It appears 185 individuals would not be able to attend if the show was held Fri/Sat.

We wanted to pass the results along for the sake of transparency. We will not be changing days for the upcoming show and it will be held on Saturday/Sunday.
