Cool promos so far. Haven't decided what I will be looking for. Would like to find some Sons of Anarchy inserts for both sets so far and some Supernatural Seasons 1-3. My daughter needs some Adventure Time autos. Who knows what else might catch my fancy.

I'm in for the dinner. Even without Ed there, it should be a great time.
I will be looking to complete inserts from Game of Thrones and Bond. Will have some recent inserts from these sets for trade.

Okay, maybe Ed will be there...

If you asked me last week I would have still said I wasn't coming.

I decided that I have LOTS of things that don't sell at Comic Cons that are suited for card shows. UK sets, preview sets, and a literal ton of chase cards. So I sought spousal approval to make the trip.

So expect a full spread of interesting stuff, much of it on sale.

Now, about that dinner...

I'm game. Unless something changes Alberto's has a Friday Night Taco Bar special. And I like tacos!

Please remember that since this is last minute, I cannot promise anything beyond dinner. I am out of town for 16 days between now and then. So come for the food and company or possibly leave disappointed.

I think the sad thing is "some" people only come for the freebies. It's nice when collectors come just to hang out with other collectors

Agreed. Though we have a pretty good group that regularly attends.

The Freebies are a nice extra, but the time spent with fellow collectors is priceless.

I agree with you Don. I enjoy hanging out with the other collectors as well. I have gone to the dinners enough times now that I actually know people's names.

I would be in for dinner on Friday night too.

I attended a flea market a couple of weeks ago and bought some 12.5" x 16" steel signs featuring MARS ATTACKS!. These signs feature the image from the Topps wax pack from 1962. I have a couple of extra signs to trade if anyone is interested. My sign looks great in my "Card Cave".

I'm out for Friday/dinner but will be there on Saturday.
