I have opened 7 x 4 box cases today I didn't keep a count of induvidual cases but here is what I got

Chris, how many base sets were you able to make from 1 case? A friend of mine was only able to make 6 base sets out of the 4 boxes!

Anyways, here is my breakdown for 1 case.

Aragorn coronation cloak
Eowyn coronation dress
Sam wedding jacket
and last but not least a Peter Jackson auto

I have sorted 2 boxes and made 5 sets so it looks quite good here

Opened second case

10 base sets (of 72)

Arwen's coronation dress
Elrond's bronze silk robe
Merry's rohan cloak
Sam's wedding jacket

I've opened 4 cases thus far:
3 Sala Baker Autos
1 Ordeski Auto

1 Aragorn Costume
1 Elrond Costume
1 Arwen Costume
2 Witch-King costumes
2 Eowyn Coronation Costume
4 Sam Costumes

I've only collated 1 box for sets, and got 2 full sets and lacked 2 cards from a third.

1 case and 6 boxes more to go.

The odd's on a Jackson auto really are long. Still one can hope.......

One box to go with Sam's Wedding jacket waiting I am sure.

Got one box & was VERY pleased even though it's not one of the three cards I wanted (Aragorn & Eowyn x2).

Zero, Zip, None, Nada Base sets. Quit trying when I was to 11 cards missing.

Trying really hard right now to even want to open the next box. Topps, I knew I should have stayed away from this one.

I opened one box and didn't get any costume or autograph cards. I haven't tried to put any base sets together yet.

Does anyone know how common this is with this release?

Even more of a waste of money than usual from Topps!!!

It must be nice to afford to purchase cases of cards. Us people on a fixed income can barely afford a box of cards. I never got a pack of Star Trek - "Nemisis" cards and without NSU and the "family" here, I would be without promos and cards. Thanks All who have helped keep my cards coming. (Saving $$ for a deal with a Star Trek fan for older cards).

I'd opened 5 cases and noted the results elsewhere. I bought 6 boxes from a "nameless seller on eBay" and got them today. They were gracious enough to send 2 boxes and a case.
By the way, their boxes are "Retail." There is no difference except the packs have $1.99 on them.
I had intended for these to be the last boxes I buy of ROTKU, and I think they're a good note to go out on:
1st box Elrond Costume
2nd box Eowyn's Coronation dress

Case:
1st Box Frodo's Vest
2nd Box Merry's Cloak
3rd Box Ordesky auto
4th box Baker auto

2 autos and Frodo make this case a great case to stop on. By the way, I did get at least one auto in each case I opened. No PJ, though.

Seeing that autographs were inserted a 1 per 7 boxes I am happy with any of em.
