Wow that's very interesting. Both boxes were almost the same. Almost. Still no Spiner or Ruskin though. I wonder if Spiner is harder to get.

I noticed you got a Yasutake and a Zerbe in both boxes. My friend bought 1 single pack and got both Yasutake AND Zerbe in the same pack.

BOX TOPPER
PC11 Ilia in Star Trek:The Motion Picture 230/250

My box I thought broke down good. I didn't get the A123 card either. I was told from the dealer I purchased it from (Lynne Stewart) that these weren't collated very well in the boxes and hopefully Rittenhouse will address the issue. I did end up with complete Insert sets, but did get 1 pack where there was only 1 autograph, and 1 pack that had 2 Tribute cards and 1 less base card. All in all, I am very pleased. All I need now is the Nimoy, Nichols and Zerbe autos and the PC10, besides that A123...
I did consider purchasing 2 boxes, but it wasn't the worst mistake I made not doing so. If anyone wants to trade, I'd do the Yasutake for a PC10 or something for a Nimoy or Nichols...Rick

Not sure if it means much, but this is the breakdown for the 8 boxes posted so far...

A107 Donna Murphy (Limited) - 9
A111 Patti Yasutake (Very Limited) - 9
A113 Anthony Zerbe (Very Limited) - 4
A114 John Hostetter - 16
A115 Hilary Hayes - 16
A116 Allan Miller - 16
A117 Robert Hooks - 14
A118 Scott De Venney - 15
A119 Brent Spiner (Very Limited) - 5
A120 William Shatner (Very Limited) - 5
A121 Christian Slater (Limited) - 8
A123 Michael Owen - 12
A124 Joseph Ruskin (Extremely Limited) - 4
A125 Jonathan Simpson - 16
A126 Leonard Nimoy (Very Limited) - 3
A127 David Orange (Limited) - 12
A128 Vijay Amritraj - 16
A129 Conroy Gedeon - 15
A130 John Putch - 16
A131 D. Elliot Woods - 14
A132 Gary Faga - 15

The only thing I noticed is that there seems to be 1 Patti Yasutake in every box so far, which is a bit high for a Very Limited. But then, we're only working with 8 out of 375 boxes!

Got my two packs today- nothing spectacular but I am happy with my pulls-

A116/A125 in the first pack- with a Gold Picard numbered 7/425, and a T4- Khan

A123/A131 in the second pack with a Gold Worf numbered 361/425, and a T7- Captain Terrell

Pros: Movie auto design is as gorgeous as ever, tribute cards are also quite gorgeous. Base set and gold card designs are also gorgeous.

Cons: The packs go by sooooo quickly....

I had troubles with the Owens. It's common and shouldn't be hard to get. I am happy to help a few peple get the Owens if they didn't get any in their box (while my stash holds out) or I'm sure RA can as well. Stuff happens now and again.

Received an email from my U.K. supplier today stating there is a problem and I won't be receiving my boxes. Apparently Rittenhouse "mis-placed" the order and when my supplier contacted them for update was informed the product was a sell out and they don't have any stock left. Shake Head

My supplier is a fairly large purchaser from Rittenhouse so where does that place the rest of us in Rittenhouse's thoughts, not very high probably. I'm going to have look to the secondary market with VAT (Taxes) and all for some boxes or go for a master set. If I go for the later I'm miss opening the boxes and the Rewards Points that go with them.

The only problem I would have with buying individual packs with a product like this where RA only guarantees 1 Shatner or Nimoy per box is that dealers would cherry-pick Mad that card and sell the remaining packs where a buyer would have NO shot at that card. Now if RA stated that 25% Eek of the boxes would have both cards, then I would have a little less concern about this. Smokin' I hope that in the future if they release a product like this again, that they might keep that in mind Angel as I have heard NO great news about getting one of those cards from people who bought individual packs Frown

A dealer who values his/her customers and acts accordingly will not do this, so the thing is to buy from people you can trust. Is it a flaw in this format? You bet it is. Frown
