WoW! Eek

I wish you had picked out my two boxes. The best I got was the Boomer costume card...

...not that I'm complaining about that one! Big Grin

But my autos all were low end. Shake Head

Congrats again! Thumb Up Clap

Well,
This was my sixth Archive Box, but the first that I found inside of a case. The others were all auction winnings. As the years have gone by, less and less specialty cards are inserted in these highly sought after boxes. Here is what I mean; my first Archive Box was of Star Trek Enterpride Season 2. That one was magnificent. The Case Incentive cards were added to that Box as well as the 3 promo cards P1, P2 & P3. Another Archive Box I paid for that I was real pleased with was Farscape Season 4. It had the Case Incentive card also included, and that card really made the set worth the $$$$ I paid for it. The promo’s were also included in this Archive Box. Starting with the Star Trek Enterprise Season 3 Archive Box, the Case Incentives were not included, and I was severely depressed, as I had to pay an additional $85 for the Hoshi & T'Pol Sketch cards. At least the promo cards were in the box. I don't mean to put Rittenhouse Archives down for excluding these cards, I can assume that they cost a lot of money & they just don't want to give away too much stuff. But when expectations are at a real nice high a couple of years ago and have now decreased because of not knowing what to expect is kind of saddening.

The thing is an archive box is basically a 'freebie'. Rittenhouse dont have to put these in at all and whether you find them 'hidden'or with the orange flash on top you cant really complain about something extra for free. If I found one of these I'd be stunned not saddened.

I bought a second box today to try my luck after a disappointing box purchase a few months ago. I opened it while waiting for the premiere tonight. Anyways, here is my breakdown:

Alessandro Juliani as Lt. Gaeta
Boomer Costume Card
Q4 Frown Had this in my last box
CT2, CT9
R1, R3, R4, R7 Frown Had all but R7

Overall, I am pretty happy with the box, as the auto was one of the main characters, and not the Ty Olssen auto that kind of annoyed me when I pulled it last time. A costume card that I wanted and three other inserts made this a decent box.

Well, after my last box turned out to be pretty good, I decided to thrown my luck into two last boxes. The results were lukewarm, but thankfully with more good than bad...

Ty Olsson auto Frown A duplicate of the one that I didn't like!
R1,4,7
CT2
CC5

Matthew Bennett auto Smile
Q1,5
R2,5,6,8,9
CT4,6,8
CC1 Thumb Up

All in all, I hate the Olsson auto, so getting a second one was annoying, but the Bennett auto, plus finishing one of the chase sets and being almost done with another is pretty cool. Maybe someday I'll get that Starbuck or Six auto!

Yeah, I was pretty happy about that! Smile Well the answer is Yes, and No...yes because I only need 1, but no because I don't exactly have the time to pursue trading these days, I've already got several trades (+mystery box *sigh*) that I need to pursue/finish! Frown

That being said, whatcha got? Smile I'll be in Allentown, if you will be too, that might be the best chance.

I sacrificed some sleep to crack this case, so I could hopefully hand these wrappers off to RA in Allentown...
