Well, it's officially release day and I just finished my case off.

Cards are great, with a 108 card base set for those that like larger sets. Funny thing, the packs say 5 cards, but about half of them have 6 cards. If they didn't, there wouldn't be enough base cards in a box to make a set. Eek

Here's my break. Didn't make base sets after the first...

Motion: 3,4
Oceanic 6: 5
Flash Forward: all 4 of 4
Alice Evans as Eloise Hawking
Jon Gries as Roger Linus
Sam Anderson as Bernard Nadler

Overall, I am very pleased with getting 3 of 4 Very Limited and 6 of 10 Limiteds. With 9 duplicates, it would have been nice to have had the 2 standard rarity cards I'm missing.

Chase cards are beautiful as well. The Artifex set is hard to put together. I didn't finish off a set until the next to last pack in the last box in the case. Twak The lenticular cards are nice too, but some of the images are a bit dark. And the Oceanic 6 are printed on clear Acetate which are always some of my favorites.

Overall, Rittenhouse has made a fine set that stands up very well in comparison to the Inkworks sets previously.

Ed

Nice breakdown. Shame you dind't get a full base set in each box, you would have thought that make it that you do. Some nice autos too.

I'm excited too. I ordered a case plus 6 more boxes and a binder. The binder is delaying me a day. Can't wait until they arrive.

Never said I didn't get a set in each box, I just stopped collating base sets after proving you can actually get one out of a box.

It looks like I'm going to get 13 base sets out of a 12 box case, unless something happens in the latter numbers...

I did find it funny that they had to add extra cards to make a set possible. Also made it impossible to cherry pick packs as some were 6 cards and some were 5.

Ed

Really happy with this set. The card stock and finish used for the base set is sweet. I also like large base sets, and it was needed in this instance given how many shows it's trying to cover. I also really liked the chase sets. We got a pretty good break as well. We got 30 of the 34 pack inserted autos, including 2 very limiteds and 8 limiteds. We even got an extra auto. Hopefully this is just the first of several great Lost sets from Rittenhouse.

Yes, we ended up with full sets of each chase. The break was pretty much ideal. We got one and a half sets of the Artifex cards, two sets plus six of the In Motion and exactly two sets of the Oceanic 6 cards. To make up for our extra auto, we were missing an Artifex card. I think we'll survive Wink

Here are my big pulls from three boxes:

Box 1:
Monica Dean as Gabriela
Terry O'Quinn as John Locke Clap
William Mapother as Ethan Rom (limited) Clap

Box 2:
Doug Hutchison as Horace Goodspeed Clap
Patrick Fischler as Phil
Alice Evans as Eloise Hawking

Box 3:
Andrea Roth as Harper Stanhope
Terry O'Quinn as John Locke
William Mapother as Ethan Rom (limited)

On one hand I'm super happy to get the Locke autograph, on the other, I now have two of them. (As well as a duplicate Ethan Rom.) I guess when it rains, it pours.

My only complaint is about the binder. The silhouettes on the front of the binder have a sort of "bootleg" quality to them. Perhaps it's just me. Other than that, fantastic set!

ACK! That statement gave me a flashback to when I was a kid and traded all my comics for a crummy 40 bucks. I got $20 dollars for my Amazing Spiderman where he got his new black costume. I`m still trying to develop a time machine to stop me from doing that.

Anyways congrats on getting the Michelle Rodriguez! Thumb Up
