Does anyone know where I can find an artist list and sketch card count for this release? I checked Topps website and they don't list anything yet.

I received my 2 cases yesterday. I'll be cracking one tonight. Thumb Up

Edited *** I see Steve have already provided one.
You could have a long wait until Topps to post one, if at all!

I know this is the box breakdown thread, but couldn't buy a box as I'm saving for the Wondercon this weekend. Anyway...bought two packs at Target today and pulled Dengar by Jason Sobol.

Here's my 3 box breakdown:

Box 1: Russ Walks sketch Metal This box also had a gold card 3 of 15 #394/500

Box 2: An amazing Cat Staggs Sketch and a Yoda card

Box 3: A fantastic Grant Gould card and an Auto

After 3 bad case breaks from Topps I thought I was done with them. I couldn't resist after seeing the box breaks though and these pulls were beyond what I expected.

I went in for a case of this, and was not disappointed. Base set is probably the best I have seen in a long time, and the chase cards are well done, too. The sketches are all over the place in terms of quality, but I like that (it makes the chase for the goods ones that much more rewarding).

Base Sets: 9
Etched Foil Sets: 5 + extras (#2 & #4 of 6)
Siler Foil Sets: 3 + extras (#1,x2, #2 x2, #3 x2, #4 x3, #5 x2, #6 x2, #7 x2, #8, #9, #10, #11)
Bronze Foils: 1, 2, 3, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15
Gold Foils (#'d of 500): 1, 5, 10, 13, 15
Lost Galaxy Sets: 1 + extras (#2, #3, #5)
Lost Yoda Card: none Shake Head
Autograhps: 2
    Artists:
  • Tom Taggart - Galaxy 2 #269
  • Jeffery Jones - Galaxy 2 #237

Die Cut Helmet Sketches: 3
    Artists:
  • MAD (Storm Trooper)
  • Spooky Booty (Storm Trooper)
  • Urban Medium (Darth Vader)

Sketch Cards:
    Artists:
  • Kate Glasheen - Yoda
  • Irma Ahmed - Obi-wan
  • Howard Shum - Qui-Gon
  • Jeff Carlisle - Logray (Ewok Shaman) Big Grin
  • Justin Chung - Ask Aak Big Grin
  • Nicole Falk - Ashoka w/Alien Metal
  • Patrick Richardson - Anakin Big Grin
  • Lord Mesa - Wicket Big Grin

I'll post scans of my sketches later.

My two hobby boxes arrived today. Here are the breaks...

Box 1
Lost Yoda card: 1 (416/999)
Gold Art Card: 2 of 15 (289/500)
Artist Auto: Nelson
Sketch: Tar Monevv by Lord Mesa

A pretty good box regarding hits with the Yoda, Gold card and Auto.

Box 2
Sketch: Padme by Patrick Hamill Bouncey

Easily the best sketch I've pulled in my short time collecting.

General Thoughts and Musings
I was lucky to get a complete set of the Silver Art Cards and Foil Etched Cards out of my two boxes, which was a nice little bonus.

The base set artwork is beautiful. I like the style of the art cards too, more so than the LOTR art cards.

Finally, the box was a bit on the large side. Admittedly, it looked nice with the fold-out lid open for retail, but I was surprised at just how big the box was. Reminded me of sports box packaging.

Thanks Chris!

I saw there was a sketch in the pack and showed it to my friend first. He frowned, so I thought it wasn't going to be much, then was amazed when I turned it round. Smile
